Kunsthal Thy is an exhibition venue for contemporary art at a high level. From 2026, the art hall will be located in a 400 m² space in the barn of the manor Boddum Bisgaard.

The exhibition venue focuses on sculpture, video, and installation, works that can engage directly with the distinctive space. Kunsthal Thy opened in 2023, initiated by visual artist Rasmus Søndergaard Johannsen, who also serves as artistic director. In 2026, Kunsthal Thy is supported by the foundations listed below.

In connection with individual exhibitions, activities are organized in collaboration with partners so that the art is communicated to and used by children and young people with special needs as well as adults with mental health vulnerabilities. There is also close collaboration with local stakeholders and volunteers, with an emphasis on strong anchoring in the local community.

The exhibiting visual artists are paid fees in accordance with the recommended minimum fees agreed between the Organisation of Danish Museums and the Danish Artists’ Union.
